We supported the foundation of a Commonwealth Truth and Justice Commission and emphasised the power of truth-telling emphasis the resilience and strength of First Nations people. We called upon the Bill to be amended to include a reference to this ongoing strength and resilience, following the example of the Yoorrook Justice Commission in Victoria.
