PIAC letter to AEMC Natural Gas Bulletin Board draft determination

At the request of COAG Energy Council, the AEMC is seeking to change the National Gas Rules to specify both the purpose of the Natural Gas Bulletin Board and how information is reported on it. PIAC responded to the AEMC draft rule determination by indicating support for the changes. PIAC’s view is that these reforms will increase transparency in the east coast gas market, a market that is currently opaque for both pipeline users and consumers.
