Commonwealth Parliament has introduced four bills that should make air travel better and fairer by improving consumer protections.
The bills include reforms advocated for by the Justice and Equity Centre, including an independent Aviation Consumer Ombudsperson.
The bills have been welcomed by consumer rights advocates and disability organisations, as air travel delays and cancellations have a disproportionate impact on people with disability.
