Criminal Solicitor, HPLS Women's Service

Lucy joined the Justice and Equity Centre in March 2025 as the Criminal Solicitor in the Women’s Service of our Homeless Persons’ Legal Service. Lucy’s work is focused on assisting women who are victim-survivors of domestic and family violence, are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and have been misidentified as perpetrators of violence and charged by police.

Before joining the JEC, Lucy worked at Redfern Legal Centre and the Domestic Violence Legal Service in Darwin. She gained experience as a criminal lawyer for the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with women, collaborating with health and other community organisations.  

Lucy holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University.
