Research Lawyer, Towards Truth

Elizabeth joined the Justice and Equity Centre in August 2024 as a Research Lawyer with the Towards Truth Project. 

Elizabeth spent 7 years working with First Nations clients as a solicitor in the Civil Law Service for Aboriginal Communities at Legal Aid NSW, where she provided legal advice, assistance and representation across a range of issues, including housing, credit and debt, complaints against police, consumer law and the Stolen Generations Reparations Scheme. 

Previously, Elizabeth worked in Criminal Justice System policy & law reform at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. 

Elizabeth holds a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Laws from UNSW.
