PIAC made a submission in response to Transgrid’s 2023-2028 Revenue Proposal in which we outlined what we considered to be fundamental flaws in Transgrid’s stakeholder engagement.

Issues we raised include delayed consumer engagement, selective engagement and a lack of identified consumer advocate views.  We asserted these flaws materially undermined Transgrid’s ability to ground their proposals in their consumers preferences, and recommended the AER not accept the proposal as reflective of consumer preferences
