The Public Interest Advocacy Centre made a submission to the Department of Planning Industry and Environment (DPIE) in the Town Water Risk Reduction Program Draft Roadmap.

PIAC supports the DPIE process to reform the framework for delivering secure and sustainable water services across regional NSW. PIAC recommended further improvements to deliver a more consistent, robust and transparent.  Opportunities to embed reforms in legislative actions were raised, and we highlighted the need to align regional water reforms with developments in State and Regional water planning and water regulatory reform.
