The Public Interest Advocacy Centre made a submission to the Department of Customer Service (DCS) in response to their supplementary consultation on charging options for residents in land lease communities.

PIAC strongly supports reform of charging options for embedded network residents of land lease communities. Greater consistency and fairness in charging methods is needed. PIAC made recommendations intended to help protect residents rights to adequate supply, and ensure the charges they pay reflect the costs of their supply.
