Submission re the modernisation of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (Transport Standards)

PIAC lodged a submission to the Department of Industry’s Consultation Regulation Impact Statement on the modernisation of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (Transport Standards). Our submission addresses the proposed modernisation of the Transport Standards and reiterates issues we have raised previously around the lack of compliance, accountability and enforcement mechanisms under the Transport Standards.
