PIAC made a submission to the NSW Legislative Council Committee Inquiry into the planning system and the impacts of climate change on the environment and communities.

PIAC urges the Committee to consider the particular and disproportionate impacts of climate change on people and communities experiencing disadvantage. PIAC recommends coordination across government to address these issues, and reform of the planning system to embed climate change in decision making, facilitate the delivery of affordable housing, and ensure the planning system is delivering net-zero ready homes and places.
