Submission to NSW DCCEEW Transmission Planning Review

The JEC made a submission to the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water’s review of transmission planning in NSW (the Owens Review).

We noted that the panel again agreed with our concerns about how inequitable cost recovery under the NSW Roadmap are, and how this impacted on matters within scope of the review. We took the position that it is necessary for the panel to respond to these issues in the recommendations it produces, and provided three ways they could do this.
