PIAC made a submission to the AER in response to Transgrid’s Contingent Project Application (CPA) for HumeLink early works.

In this submission we argued that the CPA as proposed is not in the consumer interest and should be rejected by the AER. We contended that most works associated with Humelink should be treated as a connection asset for Snowy 2. Accordingly, we recommended the related costs should be recovered from Snowy Hydro as the primary beneficiary and party most capable of managing the risks (and costs) associated with the project.
