The NSW Law Reform Commission has been asked to review the mechanisms and processes for considering and determining parole. This submission is in response to the fourth and fifth Question Papers released by the Commission as part of this review:

Question Paper 4 – Reintegration into the community and management on parole.

Question Paper 5 – Breach and revocation

The report, Beyond the Prison Gates – The experiences of people recently released from prison into homelessness and housing crisis, provides the evidentiary basis for much of the content of this submission.
