The NSW Law Reform Commission has been asked to review the mechanisms and processes for considering and determining parole. This submission is in response to the first three Question Papers released by the Commission as part of this review:

1. Question paper 1 – The design and objectives of the parole system

2. Question paper 2 – Membership of the State Parole Authority and the Serious Offenders Review Council

3. Question paper 3 – Discretionary parole decision making.
