Liaison Officer, Women’s Service / Project Officer, StreetCare
Anna-Jane (A-J) is the client liaison for the Homeless Persons’ Legal Service (HPLS) Women’s Service and Project Officer for StreetCare. A-J first joined the Justice and Equity Centre in March 2024 as a practical legal training placement, before becoming a paralegal for the Women’s Service.
A-J is passionate about working with people from diverse social, cultural, and mental health backgrounds and has over fifteen years’ experience in developing and coordinating community programs.
A-J previously worked at the Wayside Chapel in Sydney coordinating the in-house art program and in the Northern Territory facilitating art workshops for at risk youth and emerging adult artists. She has formal training as an art therapist and a Bachelor of Laws from Australian Catholic University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
