2SER: Debt and Homelessness

Sydney’s ongoing housing crisis continues to cause people to struggle with the cost of their rent and bills. For those in social housing, even the smallest amount of debt could lead to homelessness. 

The Homeless Person’s Legal Service has a specialist Women’s Service that assists women who are struggling with debt and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Rachael Barwick, Senior Solicitor, joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss the link between social housing debt and homelessness.
