2SER: The Continued Need for Aviation Disability Standards

Qantas are under fire after a series of errors left Chelsea Hopkins-Allan, who has a disability, stranded hours from home.

Chelsea is bringing a complaint to the Human Rights Commission, and the lawyers from the Justice and Equity Centre (JEC) representing her say Qantas’s treatment of Chelsea was disability discrimination.

Sheetal Balakrishan from the JEC joined 2SER Breakfast to explain more about this case and how it’s part of the bigger picture.
