ABC Illawarra Drive: Alastair Lawrie on the NSW Govt’s Conversion Practices Ban Bill

Our Director of Policy and Advocacy, Alastair Lawrie, joined Lindsay McDougall on ABC Illawarra Drive, discussing the NSW Government’s plans to outlaw ‘sustained efforts to change or suppress an individual’s sexual orientation and gender identity’. 

Alastair explained the details of the proposed legislation and highlighted how NSW was falling behind other states in its delay to enact reforms protecting LGBTQ people from suppression and discrimination.
