Erin Turner Manners

Senior Solicitor, Strategic Litigation

Erin joined the Justice and Equity Centre’s Strategic Litigation team as a Solicitor in 2017 and has worked across a range of our projects including Policing and Detention, Children in Care, Discrimination and Asylum Seeker Health Rights.

Previously, Erin was a Solicitor in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team at a commercial law firm in Sydney and was an active member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. She has also previously worked at the Central Coast Community Legal Centre.

Erin has worked with the NSW Law Reform Commission on the Parole reference, written case notes for a criminal law database led by the Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) and worked on a land rights project on behalf of Indigenous communities in Sabah, Borneo with PACOS Trust.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) from Macquarie University. She has also studied International Law subjects at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
