Oliver is a descendant of the Wiradjuri Kooris. Oliver grew up in Sydney and is completing a Criminology and Criminal Justice/Law degree at UNSW.
Oliver was previously a secondee at Community Legal Centres NSW where he assisted in a variety of civil and criminal matters with a diverse range of clients. Oliver joined the Justice and Equity Centre’s Towards Truth Project as a Research Assistant in February 2023, and took up a role in our Aboriginal Social Justice Graduate program from June 2024. He’s currently a secondee at the Shopfront Legal Centre.
He has a strong passion for seeking justice for First Nations people, and for other groups who may be experiencing disadvantage.
