Michael has been a member of the Justice and Equity Centre’s Energy and Water Justice team since March 2023. He works predominantly on issues relating to the development of Australia’s electricity transmission infrastructure, energy wholesale markets, and the governance of the National Energy Market.
Previously, Michael was a lecturer in International Political Economy at the University of New South Wales, where he wrote about foreign investment, trust, and the energy transition.
Michael has a PhD in International Relations from the University of New South Wales and a degree in Economics in Government from the University of Sydney.
