Submission to AER Draft Retail Performance Reporting Procedures and Guidelines

PIAC made a submission to the Australian Energy Regulator’s Draft retail performance reporting procedures and guidelines. 

We reiterated our support for the AER requiring retailers to start providing data on embedded networks, life support and family violence. We also support increased granularity on energy debt, metering and billing complaints. These new and expanded performance indicators will provide important insights into how retailers are upholding obligations and protections for disadvantaged consumers.
