2SER: Celebrating Reconciliation Week and Supporting the Uluru Statement from the Heart

27 May to 3 June is National Reconciliation Week marking the twin anniversaries of the successful 1967 referendum (changing the constitution to allow government to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the census) and the Mabo case of 1992, which rejected the terra nullius argument and paved the way for Native Title.

Ngemba man, PIAC lawyer, and Project Coordinator of Towards Truth Project, Corey Smith, spoke to 2SER to discuss their reasons for their supporting the Voice as well as to preview their Towards Truth website, to be launched at the end of June, a resource developed in response to the Uluru Statement that will support truth telling activities.
